About Us
The Learning Resource Management and Development Section (LRMDS) of the Department of Education (DepEd) aims to improve the availability, accessibility, and quality of teaching and learning resources across various levels of education. It ensures that both teachers and learners have access to relevant, reliable, and high-quality instructional materials for use in formal education and alternative learning systems.
The LRMDS operates at the regional, division, and school levels, with key responsibilities that include:
- Developing and distributing learning resources to support effective teaching and learning.
- Ensuring quality assurance by maintaining established standards for educational materials.
- Digitizing learning resources to make instructional materials more accessible and widely available.
- Supporting teachers through professional development programs and initiatives that enhance their ability to use learning resources effectively.
